Seavo ADI-V51 AIoT Developer Kit is based on the 12th generation Intel® Core™ processor (formerly Alder Lake -P), which features up to 12 cores and 16 threads with a performance hybrid architecture and supports DDR5 memory (up to 4800 MHz). The Seavo ADI AIoT Developer Kit features a slim and compact design with rich I/O, including dual 2.5GbE LAN ports, 5 USB 3.2 ports, multiple HD display ports (3 DP and 1 HDMI), and 3 M.2 slots, which you can use to extend the capabilities of the system, such as adding an NVMe SSD, Wi-Fi/BT/5G module, AI accelerator card, etc., to better support various AI applications in edge computing.

The Seavo ADI AIoT Developer Kit is integrated with Intel® Iris® Xe graphics, which offers great GPU computing capability with up to 96EUs. Powered by Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ Toolkit and VNNI technology to improve AI performance, the Seavo ADI AIoT Developer Kit accelerates your deployment of AI applications in smart retail, industrial automation, digital security, and machine vision.

Solution

Bright Kitchen application

The Bright Kitchen application uses AI machine vision to help restaurant managers better supervise the kitchen and enhance customers' confidence in food safety. This solution can be deployed by connecting IP cameras to the Seavo ADI AIoT Developer Kit, and using the Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ Toolkit to optimize the vision computing performance. With this setup, you are able to monitor in real time the conditions in the kitchen and alert managers if there are any issues. For example, you can monitor whether chefs are wearing the appropriate attire and performing their tasks in a hygienic manner, or detect the presence of rodents or pests in the kitchen.

Autonomous Mobile Robot

Various types of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) are increasingly being adopted by hospitals, restaurants, hotels, factories, etc. With the compact size and low power consumption design, the Seavo ADI AIoT Developer Kit can be easily deployed in constrained internal spaces and enables mobile robots to function on battery power. Use the rich I/O selection to integrate cameras, radars, and wireless communication modules to augment the capabilities of the mobile robot. These capabilities are made possible by the powerful 12th generation Intel® Core™ processor that powers the developer kit, delivering the compute performance required to enable vision-based autonomous navigation and multitask parallel processing.
